(Construction work on the Véloroute de la Chaudière between the Domtar stopover in Sainte-Marie and Vallée-Jonction is resulting in the complete closure of this 4.2-kilometre section, for an indefinite period)
The “Véloroute de la Chaudière” is a completely paved, 46-km cycling path to discover the wonders of the Chaudière river valley. Stretching 26 km in all, you'll ride from Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon to Saint-Isidore and then to Scott. Part of the Véloroute is on a designated roadway in Saint-Lambert (roadway shared between motorists
and cyclists). The section between Saint-Isidore and Scott is on paved shoulders. The bike path, completely paved, then goes through the municipalities of Scott, Sainte-Marie and Vallée-Jonction for 20 km. The “Véloroute de la Chaudière” is certainly one of the best ways to appreciate the array of flavours and colours of the Beauce region. All along the way, you'll be greeted by breathtaking views, heritage sites and tourist attractions.
