LÉVIS

The City of Lévis results from the regrouping of ten municipalities on southern bank of the St. Lawrence river, opposite to Quebec City. Lévis stretches from the 300-year-old parish of Saint-Nicolas, in the west, to Pointe-de-Lévy, in the east. This corresponds to the former boundaries of the Lauzon seigniory. Linked to Québec City by the Québec and Pierre-Laporte bridges and the ferry service, Lévis is the main economic and urban development pole of the Chaudière-Appalaches region.
