St-Alphonse church, with its Romanesque Revival style, was built in 1907 and sits in the downtown area of Thetford Mines. It is considered an architectural masterpiece and a jewel in the city's heritage crown. This magnificent temple has room for 2,076 people. With its 32-foot high altar, three rood lofts, pulpit, ten confessionals, statues, paintings and exhibit on liturgical clothing and objects that were used in recent years, a tour of St-Alphonse church will fascinate you.

June 24 to September 1. Closed on Monday. Year round for groups with a reservation.
