Embark on the discovery of the extensive religious heritage in Lévis and the riveting history of the bells. The visit organized by the Comité du patrimoine religieux lévisien includes a guided tour of two centuries-old neo-classical churches. One is Saint-Joseph, erected in 1675 and the first church on the south shore and the other is Notre-Dame, built in 1850 and classified as a historic monument in 2003. The itinerary also includes a tour of the congregation chapel. The guides will help you fully appreciate the churches' history and architecture and the Jobin, Bourgault, Vallières and Nincheri masterpieces they contain. You will also be impressed by the renowned Mitchell organs.
