Discover a jewel in the region's religious heritage crown! With or without a guide, you will appreciate the remarkable architecture of Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola church. Built according to the specifications of architect David Ouellet, the interior layout was inspired by the major works of Thomas Baillargé. With its impressive central vault, the inside of the church features stained glass, paintings and an array of sculpted ornaments. The magnificent 1918 Casavant organ has 37 speaking stops and a 24-foot-high central pipe. A religious art exhibit will take you to the church's crypt where the remains of several notable residents are kept.
