Straddling the ridge separating the Etchemin and Chaudière valleys, and nestled in a land of sugar maple stands, where three of the highest peaks of the region proudly stand - La Crapaudière (556 m), Mont O'Neil (625 m) and Mont Frampton (655 m) - Frampton was established with the arrival of Irish and British immigrants. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to admire the Christ Church of Springbrook (1841), an Anglican church that was restored and now serves as a summer theatre (Théâtre du Révérend). Don't forget to catch a glimpse of the old sawmill, dating back to 1806, which was operated with the help of an ingenious steam system.
