Saint-Léon-de-Standon, often called “Little Switzerland,” is home to majestic mountain landscapes and activities that will delight outdoor enthusiasts. Its network of marked trails cover 30 km and five different sites. These trails, reserved exclusively for hikers, lead to gorgeous peaks and lookout points with breathtaking views. These trails are also used for geocaching (GPS rental available). Come discover peaceful and enchanting areas while paddling “Le Beauchemin” canoe route, for a 1½-hour or 3-hour adventure. The passion of Standon's residents for gardening can be seen in the magnificent landscaping on display in the village and throughout the countryside. See the “Mémoires vivantes” (living memories) exhibit, which will take you back to the municipality of yesteryear. See the museum in the basement of our most beautiful heritage building - the church. “Saint-Léon-de-Standon, with its meanders and gardens,” will wow audiences.
