The region

Description of the region

Located across the Canadian border north of the state of Maine and New Hampshire, the Chaudiere-Appalache region is easily accessible by car or by ATV.

The main cities are Lac-Etchemin, Levis, Montmagny, Saint-Georges and Thetford Mines.

The region has 995 miles of trails in winter and 450 miles during the other period of the year. The trails are marked and groomed by about 18 ATV clubs. The region offers you the possibilities to loopback or make daisy trail without having to ride on the same trails. The geographical diversity of the region is absolutely unrivalled. The sugar shacks, the plain of the St-Lawrence river, the valley of the Chaudiere and the Etchemin rivers and the Appalaches mountains that permit you to ride on totally unique trails and their white peaks all offers you unobstructed use of the towns and territories.

Accessible direct from the trails, the Chaudiere-Appalaches region offers a multitude of services including: great quality of accommodations with ATV packages, huge choice of restaurants, lot of gas stations, rentals and dealers for every ATV brand.

Come and experience one of the most beautiful regions for ATV in North America.
